Tevredenheid
Dit citaat van H.E. Tai Situpa Rinpoche, een leraar uit de boeddhistische Kagyu traditie gaat over tevredenheid als kern van het psychologische en spirituele werk.
We are content when we are able to say, "What I am is what I am. What I have is what I have. I'm going to do everything I can with what I am and with what I have. I'm not going to bother about what I am not and with what I don't have."
When we are able to be like that, then all chapters of our life are closed, except one, the chapter of peace, harmony and contentment. Otherwise we have so many chapters of greed, chapters of ambition, chapters of jealousy, chapters of competition, all kind of chapters.
It’s a matter of simply going from contentment and determination to the higher state of transforming happiness and joy into the state of stainless, primordial, non-duality.
